Fitting my griffin radiator in my sonoma rig and the factor lower hose from my 82 chevy 454 truck that I used engine from is the right shape and all but I need 1.75" on both ends instead of the 1.5" that is on the radiator side of that hose. Anyone know of an application in the same style trucks that uses a radiator with 1.75" outlet?

This is the hose I have that needs the bigger end

just searched the diesel application and it uses a 1.75" and a 2.12"... dangit

Look at Ford lower hose applications. They used 1-3/4 on both sides. I had to find one years ago for an aluminum radiator conversion in my Nova. I used a Goodyear 61103. Might cross it to whatever you have available and see if it would work for you. It looks similar to a GM hose, so it may be adaptable.

If what i'm gathering is correct (your radiator has a 1.5" nipple, and the hose you want to use is for a 1.75" nipple) that is easy to overcome, all you need to do is cut a small length piece of 1.5" hose to fit over the 1.5" nipple then use your 1.75" hose OVER the "sleeve" you've just created.

EDIT: I just reread your post and it seems like you have a hose with 1.50" on one end and 1.75" on the other end and you need 1.75" on BOTH ends? IIRC the trucks that came with a 454 used a radiator with a 1.75" lower nipple so start looking for a hose from a 454 equipped truck.

My hose was from a 454 equiped truck and doing various searches on napaonline pretty much all the 73-87 style trucks sbc or bbc used the 1.5" radiator nipple unless diesel and they used a 2.12". The 70-71s I did searches on had 1.75 and a 1.81 so I am gonna see if they have any of those numbers and hope foe the best. I'll have them look up that goodyear p/n too. Thank you.

FYI I have a Griffin radiator with the 1.75" outlet, with a couple drops of anitfreeze around the outlet I was able to slide a new stock radiator hose right over it. And I had one in my car like that for years as well.
