Ok i have a 78 1/2 ton long bed chevy and setting about 10" high but it has 4" block all the way around:doah:. so to get it right and safe im taking the blockes out. Wondering if i can just take the blocks out and set it back on the springs only. they made a wedge to fit in the block to spring to match the pinion angel. So i think i can take out the block and wedge and go back to a suspenion lift. Also i wanting this truck to be my tow rig on 35"s. Any hints, problems or ideas?

you can take the blocks out and it should be fine. unless they did something strange to it. you will need new u-bolts obviously. im guessing you have a 6 inch suspension lift?

Yea alot of people don't like towing with a lifted truck. I have never tower with mine though so I can't say. Definitely ditch those front blocks

I would take the blocks out and check the shocks and shake down all the steering components and replace what is bad .

Your on the right track with taking the blocks out, if the shims are not bolted to the spring pack pull them out as well. Once you haveit down on the springs you can check your driveline angles and get new shims if necessary. As posted above you will need new u-bolts
