Would these shackle be good for a home made through the hanger shackle flip?? I want to raise up the rear higher than 4" so that I dont have a saggy butt.lol. They are 2 1/4 longer than stock.
Thanks

It says lowers rear 2 1/4", wouldn't that be 4 1/2" longer than stock? It seems like it should work.

crap I dont want that much lift where can I find one that will give me 5.5-6" of lift??

UMM maybe buy a shckle thats 5.5" long or 6" Otherwise throw a block or add a leaf or zero rate (depending on what actual height you want) in there.

How would it be 4 1/2" longer than stock??That would be like a 8" shackle.wow

Because if it lowers the truck 2 1/4", the shackle has to be twice that longer than stock. The shackle moves only one end of the spring, so it moves twice as far as the axle will. Get rid of some of your ? marks, I have to scroll too far /forums/images/graemlins/doah.gif

I am trying to get away from the blocks but if I get say a 2" block will I still have axle wrap??

This Place has some interesting items. They have front hangers for the rear springs to give an additional 2" lift. I think that the front 2" hanger with a shackle flip would be cool.
