i just watched them put in a LP tank in the bed of an f150 and a full LP kit. i may sound stupid but i thought propane on the street was illegal,but natural gas was legal?

The local news paper company (Block publishing) here runs all its trucks on LP. Been doing it since the 80's. I also remember a few police departments (seen old cars for sale) in small rural communities doing it along the southern coast.

propane is legal here in Colorado but you are required to have a decal on the windshield showing that you have paid an estimate on tax for it or you have to have all recieipts for everytime you have filled the vehicle with propane for the last year showing you paid fuel tax.

Getting caught without this is a felony:eek1:

obscure law not a whole lot of people know about.
