LS conversion VSS help

Need help with my conversion using my same trans and 208 transfercase what can I use for VSS
What is everyone else using for manual to VSS conversions please

The first one I swapped I used a Dakota digital dash which came with a mechanical to electronic converter. The second one I did I had the 205 machined for a factory VSS sensor.



You can get something like this Pulse generator. Plenty of people make them and they just mount where your cable used to be. The tune needs to match whatever pulses per mile your generator puts out.

Thanks but anpulse generator seems like it may be a bit of work to make it work to reprogram the ecm for the pulse
I was hoping to keep the VSS
I guess I will just have to find a 241

A pulse generator is VSS. VSS is Vehicle Speed Sensor. That sensor sends pulses per mile or PPM. The pulse generator I linked is 8K pules per mile, There are other ones out there. Even if you get a 241 you still need to make sure your computer is programed for the PPM that the 241 puts out. which should be 4K PPM

You already HAVE to have the computer reprogrammed to work in your truck. Just tell the tuner you are using whatever PPM generator you are using.

I have already had it flashed but kept all the emissions and removed the 4L60e
And the harness redone
I also have the Factory VSS that came with the Donor truck
