I have a leaky fuel line connection on my 5.3. I just put this engine in my 86 K5, and it has not leaked until yesterday. I used an anodized connector from Summit Racing to attach to my factory fuel line (pictured). What do you guys recommend to fix this? Should I replace the factory metal fuel line that's mounted to the intake manifold? Is the blue connector (pictured) reuseable, or will I need to get a new one of those too?

That blue connector should be reusable unless it is cracked or broken. It's hard to tell from the picture, but it looks like the hose is on at an angle, maybe not completely locked in? If all else fails, you should be able to clamp on fuel injection hose to the hardline, although you lose the quick disconnect feature then.

We had this happen with the same fitting on my friends 6.0. Push the thing on hard as hell its not seated all the way until the plastic lock tabs open up and then return.

looks crooked

and if it doesn't work, ditch the hardlines and run FI approved hose with AN fittings

does looks crooked, maybe not seated fully? I used those style fittings on my old rig to connect to factory style fuel pump ends (ford e2000). On the new rig I used the newer russell adapters that thread on for the fuel rail on my lq4. I put a little oil on the o-ring before installation and some lock-tight on the threaded part to make sure it doesn't back off.
