LS swap in my 87 k5

I emailed the company who tuned it, I asked them to delete all vats emissions and torque management, over 3000 it feels good. I don't understand it, I need to check dtcs and see if any things going on with it.

My 5.3 has a cam and I tuned it myself, and my low end grunt is not as hard as it was with the original 5.7 TBI. The upper rpm range (2000 and up) it is a bat out of hell. When the original ls1 debuted in the camaros, all the lt1 guys had the same argument, and we all know how that ended. I can smoke my tires on a dead stop, and I also have 3.42s, but only running a 32 inch tall tire.

if drive by wire the system limits throttle blade opening to 49% until more than 49% is needed .

some guys say reflash and remove this makes a difference .

UPDATE, I've got around 1,200 miles on the truck since the install, no major issues other than my vss coming unplugged going down the road (which would not let it shift out of first after I came to a stop). I'm getting 12-14 miles to a gallon on stock 3:42 gears, I just picked up a set of tons last week I'll try to put in over the winter. Which will probably get pushed to spring because I just moved to iowa, I'm sure the wife will be driving the diesel, her car will probably sit in the shop and blaze will get to collect some of this Midwest salt! I do have a problem with my bright lights dim works just nothing on bright. I'm not sure if it has anything to do with me changing out the cluster or the hids I put in.
