I'm currently doing an LS Swap into an 86 Blazer. I've dropped in a newly rebuilt LS One From 98, New 4L80 and rebuilt transfer Case. I've run into a couple of items I need to adjust and wonder if anyone could chime in some info or post a link that might have this info. Thanks in Advance.
When I pulled out the 305 and 700R4 I had two braces that went from Motor mounts to Trans dust cover. I don't see that I have that option with the new LS. Is there a way folks are bracing?
Both the Transmission and Transfer case linkage are to short now, about 2 inches, is there an easy fix to that?
THe long brace from the back of the bell housing to the transfer case is 2 inches two short. I planned to cut it, and weld in 2 inches of length. Is there a better way?
