Ok guy's don't bash me please! I have a rebuilt LS1 sitting in a project in my garage that is on back burner for least another year or 2. It has a rebuilt LS1 from a 98 camaro with stage 2 heads(very nice port and polish),LS6 intake,ARP head bolts and mains, new Hypereutectic pistions, comp cams etc. I will have to find specs on valves and cam for you guys. But motor before rebuild was showing little over 400 at rear wheels (was 6 speed car) according to dyno sheet and my builder agreed should do that maybe more. Well I wanna do a LS swap in my K5 and wondering would you use this motor or is it gonna be to much? Though about changing cam over for more torque and talking to few local real life swap guys about it. Just worried either to much for the K5 or if sell won't get what I want or got in it back. So can anyone set me on right path with out making me feel bad? Thanks Brandon

Too much?

What's that:dunno:

If it was built for a car, a different cam may be better in the k5. But sounds like a sweet motor to me. I'd put it in.

Yeah gonna look for all my paper work on it today and find loose parts like fuel rails, brackets etc in garage today and see what all I got and gotta swap over. Think I would need 5.3 alt/ power steering bracket since camaro are flipped opposite way. Cam swap might have to due and gonna have to look into manifolds or headers. Not like people desire the 98 motors there the bastard child year! Keep it coming guys!
