Came out of my buddy's 2002 Z06 Corvette.
Bone stock this 5.7L is 11:1 compression and under-rated at 405HP.
A big thank you to Scott, 4x4High for helping me with some machine work, block prep, and advice along the way.
Clevite H series bearings, Custom total seal rings, ARP Main studs and ARP 1000 Rod bolts.
Big Custom Grind Comp Cam. 23x/24x @ .050, on a 112 LSA, ,605/.610" lift.
Finding True TDC.
Degreeing in the Cam, Checking installed centerline.
Sanded & Polished everything aluminum except for the Block.
Camaro F-body oil pan & SFI underdrive pulley.
ARP Head Studs and i gapped the rings for a 250 shot.
Patriot Gold Extreme Dual Valvesprings, Hardened Pushrods, LS7 lifters.... blaah blah blah...
Checking PTV clearance prior to final install of heads.
Longblock complete.
