ok ive got 2 10bolts with lsds, one has 3.08 (in truck) and the other is 3.73s. im gonna put the 373 rear under my truck soon. i have front diff with 373s for the front as well. can i swap the open center for the lsd from the rear and it still work properly? thanks. btw theyre both 10bs

From my understanding, they will. Long as they are both the same spline. Think they are 28 and the newer ones are 30....

What type of limited slip and what years? As stated if its a Gov lock then it won't work, spline count matters but to answer your general question, yes a rear posi can go in the front.

ok im not 100% what spline or type of lsd it is...gov lock or not. heres the scenario both stock in axle. i have an 84 and the new rear end is a 90...if im correct they should both be 28 correct? i know the only way it to pop em off and count the splines.

The rear from 1990 should be 30 spline, while the 84 should be 28. I've heard of a few rouge 28 spline fronts in 89s, and I am hoping mine is not, because I just ordered a 30 spline lockright for my front for christmas, and mine Blazer is an 89. So I would count them myself to be safe.
