i'm gettin the itch to start on my 92, and the deadline i set myself isnt getting any farther away... time to clear out some goodies...
1994 Caprice LT1 - engine is complete, except for the power steering resivior. i have nearly all of the wiring for the entire car (wasnt sure what i would need for the swap, and what i wouldnt), no ECM. previous owner wrecked the car and began to pull the engine. when i bought it the fuel rail was off of it, so i'm going to assume it needs rebuilt.
i've also got the 4L60E that was behind it, exhaust manifolds and both cats. it was a local police car, so i know maintnance was kept up on very well for most of that (generally their cars are retired at 110K) SOLD
$400 OBO
also have the disk braked 8.5" 10 bolt for the same car. 5 on 5 pattern, same as 1/2 ton 2wd GM trucks. cheap and easy way to get disk brakes! $75 OBO
1987 454 Chevy, pulled from my buddy's R30 dually. started making a light popping out the carb under load after sitting for a few months, he swapped in another 454. i hit it with a compression gauge and a vac gauge before he pulled it, symptoms are consistent with bad valvesprings. other than the popping, it ran great. block casting # 10069286, head casting # 14081045. complete carb to pan, balancer to flexplate. also have exhaust manifolds, and an acessory drive setup (not 100% sure if its complete). its also got an Edelbrock dual plane intake on it. $500 OBO SOLD
will consider trades for 3/4 or 1 ton axles, or a 700R4/241 combo.
hell, its probably a long shot, but i could use a 88-98 K1500 std cab shortbox frame too. All "wanted" parts located
