Does anyone know if there is an L83 engine mount that allows me to use my stock crossmember without cutting or notching it?

I believe the dirty dingo mounts require notching. Holleys website only lists engine mounts for 2WD blazers. :dunno:

Whats the best option for a k5 blazer? Is it easier to just get an aftermarket cross member?

I had to use a Holley swap pan, ORD crossmember and mounts that I modified.

What mounts did you use? And why did you have to modify them?
ORD’s. They are meant to bolt to a old school gen 1 chebby block. I made a flat plate that bolts to the genV block and welded the ORD mounts to that.

Nice welds on your brackets! Thanks for the pic of the ORD crossmember. I'm thinking that's the way I'll do it.
Does the engine sit much lower than the original? Or is the L83 that much taller than the old school blocks?

Thanks, I never measured the actual difference between the old sbc and the new, but I’d say it’s fairly close. The Main problem I had was the oil pan was so thick at the front.
I did end up moving the transmission forward about 2” to give us more room to work around the back of the engine. It has quite a bit going on back there with the harness and such. 94AD6470-F93C-487C-ABEF-C7DD7677CA5F.jpeg09833E82-2497-4997-8993-08C699776C21.jpeg
