i have a 96 5.7 LT1 out of a 96 caprice police car, but to put it in my blazer im still in need of a good wire harness/computer. Not able to pay for the painless one as it is $1100 and ill still need more parts to make it work. anyone able to help?

You should go to this site http://www.impalassforum.com/vBulletin/ and check in the for sale forum or even join as a non paid member and post up in the wanted section. There are LOTS of very knowledgeable people on that site.
