That's right, we have what you need to put 52s on the front of your square and do it right. Full systems with our custom leaf packs or brackets only and create your own custom spring pack.
We have Main Eye brackets for 73-80 and 81-91 for both 4wd and for 2-4wd conversions. The 52Fush (front upper shackle hanger) fits all of them and is a bolt in using existing rivet points. We have a whole lot of tech info on our home site for this conversion for you to check out and make sure it's the right thing for you.
Quick FAQ answers:
Axle goes in the stock position with a stock spring (26" eye to center pin).
FUSH sets shackle angle and it's good for a stock type spring that starts pretty flat and will definitely go into a reverse arch. It's also set up for a stock spring that is 52" center to center when flat.
You have to have crossover steering
Chances of getting away with a stock based front driveshaft are slim. You'll likely need at least custom length and probably custom angle work and slip length.
Brackets are set with eyes close to stock height compared to the frame. The FUSH hole is moved down a little to keep the larger spring eye away from the frame rail and 1-ton trucks might still have to watch eye clearance.
Lift height depends entirely on what spring you use but with an appropriately customized stock spring you'll get 3-4" of lift. In our spring systems, ask for the lift you want. If you want 4" of lift, we will base it on 4" of lift on the front of the truck regardless of what length the spring is and give you 4" of lift.
This is a new stock pack with leaves added to it. It needs a little shorter body on the shock to let it flex even more but it doesn't suck.
