I have been looking locally and thru lots of parts catalogs for a set of extra long shank 7/16 lug nuts for my 89 k5 jimmy. With my stock wheels and center caps, those short lug nuts are getting chewed up pretty bad. I've also noticed, as I'm sure many of you have, the rear GM 10 bolt is not as wide as the front axle. I read somewhere that it's approx. 1.5" shorter on both sides. I was thinking about wheel spacers on the rear end to even things out, however, I have had no luck with this either. Can anybody steer me in the right direction?

they all were like this, no matter what axles or year

front is always wider on 4x4 rigs

dana 30's, 44's, 60's, all of them, wider than the rear axles, 12 bolts, 10 bolts, 14 bolts, dana 60s, etc

NAPA has lugnuts in stock on the shelf, different ones and theyre cheap, try them

i buy solid acorns for my vehicles there all the time

I have tried NAPA, they did not have any long shank lugnuts in 7/16 nor did they have any part number listed for them in there parts catalog. they have plenty of short ones, but thats not what i'm looking for. Thanks for responding.
