Are there any recommended inexpensive luggage rack options for these or should I make something?

Also how hard is it to install sliding windows into a standard fixed window topper.

Luggage racks will come in various sizes. Mine is on the larger side and I found it on Craiglist for $50 and it measures roughly 7ft x 4ft but I had to make all the mounts (including the lights). It did come with extra brackets that the prev owner put on including a lug mount. But I never figured out what the side ones were for, however, they come in handy when I have to hang off the side trying to get stuff down. (The one that Colby Stephens has is NICE)

They are out there so it might save fab time getting a used one (I passed up on three before finally getting serious). Someone on this site has a nice low profile one but I can't recall where I saw it...(found it!) This one's pretty:

I'm not to sure about the sliding windows, I've only "heard" 2 things: They use the same seal as the fixed windows (?) and finding parts to rebuild the sliders can be a challenge (which is why I haven't gone that route yet).

I have thule bars on my truck. The front one just clips to the rain gutter over the doors. The back one clips to a bracket, which I through bolted to the roof. I've used it to carry my canoe and lumber. Thule makes racks to fit on it or it would be easy to build something and use these as a base. They also have locking clamps so thieves can't steal it.
