I had a no slip and broke the side gears doing a donuts to make a quick uturn. That was in a 14ff. Not sure what happened but I grinded both side gears off and it was past warrantee and couldn't get it replaced. I had only just put it in and drive it like a month and only one off road trip. I'd go lock right or full case Detroit or best would be a selectable locker but that gets expensive quick.
