m1008 - 4.10 or 4.56?

I've heard the m1008 military pickups came with 4.10s or 4.56, and that there was no rhyme or reason as to which trucks got which gears. Any truth to this?

Pretty sure they all came with 4.56s. Some dually's had 4.88s. The K-5s had 3.73s IIRC.

yup, 3.08's in the K5's, 4.56's in the K30's.

Wouldn't it be considered a K35 or something since it's rated at 1 1/4 ton?

1-1/4 is the military rating, K35 I think was a GMC rating, same as a K30
