still trying to figure this truck out. 8 new glow plugs. relay is a push button. gp get about 10v. thats it and stay on for 2 seconds then off then back on it you hold it in. relay could be bad? i do hear it click but it goes off real fast.

second thing. the starter. cranks over really slow. i know the batteries are good. to think of it maybe i have a 24v starter in there. there was nothing on the cast to say 24v so i thought it must be a 12v. how would i check and see?

as always thanks for the help

My 5/4 had similar problems. I also got a pushbutton for the glow plugs but it doesn't go through the glow plug timer. As far as the starter, if youve never changed it out, it likely may be 24 volt. Wire your batteries back for 24 volt and see what happens. Mite fry the starter if it's 12 volt but it ain't no good anyway.
