Top speed would be about 55-60 mph. 60 mph would be 3100 rpm which is only 500 rpm off the govenor...
mileage if you kept it to 55 or under would probably be about 15 mpg.
Chuck some 36's on it, that'd get the freeway rpms down to 2600 at 60 mph and probably net you another 2 mpg.

haha well i followed him home yesterday from picking it up, with 33s on it and on the highway. we were going 60mph the whole time, and it was averaging 18mpg (according to the milage recorded by the honda i was in following him, and the amount of diesel he put in to refill. we thought for sure it was going to get terrible gas milage at such a high rpm, but 18mpg is crazy!

My m1008 with 285's (~31") would do 65 all day long. I get about 20mpg and now have 38" on the truck.

18 mpg is damn good, my best ever was 16.5 mpg.
