m1008 starter removal.

Its heavier than a normal starter too so be careful. Be mindful that the replacement should be 24volts and to make sure the brace that goes on to the starter from the block is on there and tight!

yeah i know about it being 24 volts. im having it rebuilt. i going to get after it later this afternoon.

I always hated lifting those things into place. And that bracket is a pain in the ass to get too, especially on your back. Just make sure its super snug. Mine was lose when i found the broken bolt in the street. Must have rattled loose over the years. Makes me think to start routinely checking it
