i'm starting the first phase of my M1009 k5 build and i need to get some input.
i am putting on a rough country 4" lift with a new sway bar and all new poly mounts and suspension components. I have also aquired a Dana 60 front end and a 14 bolt FF out of a 84 c20. will these new axles be a direct fit with the existing driveshafts or is a different length required?

well my experence in the past when swaping 1/2 ton front with 1 ton and 4" lift it will prob be fine and bolt right up.

the rear will need min conversion ujoint to go from 1/2 ton to 1 ton 1350 joint.

as to rear length you will need to see were it sits when done.

and are you going to run the street alot? if not leave the sway bar off. big flex killer. even my street trucks have no sway bar with 4" or more of lift.

look in the garage section lots of good info there.

Thanks for the info, thats exactly what I needed to know in order to avoided surprises on build day.

What I'd like to know is how you got a Dana 60 front end out of a 2wd 3/4 ton C20? That's incredible!

"I reject your reality and substitute my own." :p:

Well I have parted C20's (2wd 3/4 ton truck) that had a D60 front and 3/4ton 14bff rear, It doesn't have to be stock since we modify ours all the time and convert to 4x4, but if he got it from a C20 it should fit in the blazer.:D
