I'm looking at buying a dead M1009 Blazer that I found. It has no engine, no tranny, but has a Dana 60 & 14 bolt installed. Lifted on 37s; comes with some spare parts. If I buy it, I'll be parting it out.

What would you pay for it?

With a legit Dana 60/14bff combo? Are they out of a non M1009 CUCV?

Upwards of a $1,000.

Martin

Axles alone (if they are actually a 60/14bff combo) are worth 600-800. More if they have the 4.56 gears and detroit in back. Can't tell you what the rest is worth since you gave us no info on the body/frame condition.

Yeah, it seems pretty well equipped. It has legit D60 and 14BFF axles with 4.56 gears, Detroit in the rear, flattop high steer, warn hubs. Still has the NP208. B52 on the front springs; shackle flip on 56s on the rear. 12k Warn winch w/2 controllers. Extra hood, extra seats, extra center console, extra topper glass, extra drive shafts, new steering column. Body is straight; normal rust for a CUCV. I agree the axles are worth $1k plus by themselves.

If you are buying it to part it out, the axles may be worth up to $1000-1500, but I wouldn't pay that for the whole truck. The whole vehicle is never worth the value of the individual parts. Your time is worth something and it takes time to disassemble a truck to sell the parts.

I'd throw a motor/trans into it and wheel the cr*p out of it.
