m1028 454 swap need info

Ok i want to put a 454 into a m1028. The only thing i cant figure out is the wiring on the gas job.

At minimum i think i would need
+ to starter
- to block
a jumper from + to solenoid on starter
+ from IP pump to Coil.

Is that it? I am more of a diesel guy than a gas guy.

BTW I am sure there is info on this, but I tried and Im sure i'm using wrong key words.

Install new, fresh fuel tanks and pumps.

Oh wait, on an M-truck, only one tank is needed.

purple wire to starter trigger tab . 12v key in crank position.

red hot wire to coil for ignition . 12 v key in on AND crank position.

then good grounds to body and frame and battery and basicly she will fire off.

otherwise few wires here there for sensors for gauges and alt also but you prob know that one.

and dont forget if still bone stock tranny from behind 6.2 you should swap to gass tourqe convotor and def swap out the govoner unit to gass or shift points will be way off.

Ok I can probably use my currant harness and just switch over the + for Injection pump too the coil and be done with it.

as long as its 12 volt key hot and crank position.

but i have never redone a 6.2 truck to gas.
