X-body would be the same up to 1974 and back to 1968.

It's been years since I have been there, so I don't know if the guy is even alive, or if he sold everything, but there use to be a guy by Staplehurst Nebraska that had cut up hundreds of first gen Camaros. He had barns full of parts and cars. It was amazing back in the late 90's.

Some of it yes. From the frame to the bell probably needs extra goodies since it will have more than stock clutch parts

on, an annoying aside.... 
when I took the ex back groveling when I was oh, 23 maybe.. she had just bought a 70 SS clone, full functional cowl hood with flapper (bad as fug), 350LT1, with a m22 stuffed in it to "annoy me".....
got it home a week later from philly....... sold the m22 for $450 in about, oh, 85 or so... put a t350 in it for her cuz SHE BOUGHT A MANUAL and couldn't drive stick!!!!!???!!!
