yep. got rear ended by a mitsubishi montero sport. 40-50mph rear end into me on wet concrete. my foot was on the brake and i was completetly stopped and she pushed me about 20 feet. punched a hole in the tranny, bent the right rear light bracket and other minor damage. the shift lever broke, and my leg is bruised.
click here for pictures her 2002 mitsubishi montero sport was TOTALLED!

blue book TRADE in value is 14000 on her truck, which is the value they use
at the industry standard of 60% thats 8400 in damage......

that stuff is classic... Hope no one was hurt... looks like nothin is wrong with the jeep... how the hell did the tranny get a hole poked in it

she hit me so hard the engine and tranny rocked back 3/4 inch or so into the tranny crossmember plate. 4 inch wide bt 3/8 crack. busted the seal in my divorced 205 too...
her adjuster comes out tomorrow to write mine...

I would have to say your vehicle is a classic... perhaps used in the movies... no the president drove it.... no the president owned it...
no monica and bill used it...
yea.. thats what i would say

ok serious stuff... hope nobody was hurt and you dont have too much hassle fixing it... if it got hit that hard I would think there are other gremlins that are going to pop up... be careful before you sign off...
good luck

Sorry to hear about the accident.

On the other hand: you've got a SWEET truck...I love M715's. /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif /forums/images/graemlins/woot.gif

The M715 looks like it was barely touched in comparison to that Mitsubishi. Hope all is well with you!

Do you have to have her adjuster look at it in your state?

In CA that isn't how it works. If it is the other drivers fault you take it wherever you want to get an estimate (only 1 needed) and they write you a check.

Call your insurance agent and ask what the law is. If you don't have to don't let her adjuster anywhere near your truck! They will say that it is $100 in damage and write you a check...you either cash it (and that is all you will ever get) or you take them to court.

go have a classic license appraiser look at it garenteed you'll get more money...
