I was reading the D60 bible and read the write up on this conversion. Have any of you done this? My truck is a DD and will see a lot of street use and probably be carrying a snow plow. I'm kind of leary about doing this conversion. I would like to hear your opinions.

I have a 60 that is set up like that. It sucks. I don't know who did it (PO did a lot of *work* to the truck). My problem is I can't get a locking hub to fit correctly as there is no ridge in the hub for the large snap ring that holds the locking hub guts in. I would reccomend bying SRW hubs. Billavista also says in the bible that machining DRW hubs for a DD isn't high on the list of great ideas.
