If you get the back half of a dodge 208 case, I *believe* its a bolt up sort of swap to the front half of chevy 208. I bought the parts to do it 15yrs ago and never got around to it and ended up selling them.
 
My son and I both wish that he could work on personal things with the 5 axis that he operates...
 
From what I've read the output shaft gets trimmed and tapped, and the output housing is trimmed and bored for a seal.

I did research on the dodge parts years ago. A member here was trying it about the time I joined. It wasn't easy but he did it as I recall..
 
Its doable with the dodge stuff, I was gonna get one a year or so ago but my shaft worked..... They're around but not as common
 
Couldn't copy the pic, but this is what I'm talking about...

 
As I understand it, they cut it to length then tap a hole for the flange retaining bolt.
