I have the summit brand kit that’s 100 bucks cheaper. But look’s like out of stock.
I believe my neighbor has the macs and no problems
Mac's are real nice. You can actually see and feel that they are higher quality than most.
I've got a set, I have no complaints. They hauled from Oregon to Aabama and a bunch of short trips with no issue. Just retighten after a hundred miles or so.
Ive been hauling (only a few times a year) my Vette and the Maiden around since 2011 with Macs. They were better rated than most other ones out there at the time. They’ve faded in color, but still work great for straps. I feel they stretch a bit while putting the miles on OTR, but maybe its just the suspension compressing more.
I have had mine for 6-7 years now with zero issues. Money well spent in my eyes.
Sounds like they are worth the investment.
