I have desided to sell my 71 Blazer and replace it with an 85 Toyota. The poor Blazer just has to much rust, and I got a really good deal on the toyota. Anyone know what it takes to put a 350 in an older toyota? I ain't trying to leave the chevy community totally.

If your running carb then its cake. just fab up motor mounts and a tranny mount (if you go with a GM trans)and your golden.

Advance Adapters can hook it up however you wanna do it ('yota Trans, or Chevy), but the simplest swap size wise is either a V6 or Ford 302.

BTW, I don't think they were called Tacoma's until the mid 90's.

Do a 4.3L Vortec
No, I am taking the 350 out of the Blazer and a couple of other parts and parting out the rest. I should have enough 1st gen parts to finance this new ride.

Do you have the stock gas tank/straps from your blazer?
I will be selling the 1st gen parts in a little while, just hold your horses until I figure out what I don't need. I will post up in the 1st gen section when I am ready to part out.
