MAF help

I'm having a custom tune done on my truck VIA autocal through what I beleive to be a reputable company. When I sent my first set of datalogs he came back and said my MAF reading were off by 20% and suggested that my MAF was dirty, I cleaned it well with MAF cleaner, reinstalled and recorded readings again, he came back and said it didn't fix the problem. My truck runs fine and has no idle or accelleration issues, could it really be a bad MAF?

Truck is a 2003 GMC 1500HD with a 6.0 and 73000 miles

what does he mean your MAF readings are off by 20%? Elaborate. Maf reads in Hz, in relation to outside temp and relative humidity... sooooo..

I would think the autocal would pull all of that but its japanese to me.

Can you grab a log file? Feel won't be as big of a deal with the MAF on the stock tune due to how "soft" it is. That sensor was reading more than 30% less air than was actually entering the engine.

How does he know how much air was entering the engine, if the MAF reading was off? Either this guy is a genius, or a complete tool. Something tells me, if there IS a problem, it's a wiring issue, or o2 issue, mixing up the readings. Although, "new" does NOT mean "good". What brand MAF did you buy?
