So trying to build this crossmember and for some reason I can't find much, but do I need to run both the round bushing and sandwich them and just run a large washer at the bottom or can I get away with this? I'm also running a Stock style poly mount (2wd style) on the adapter. I know I don't want it to rigid but just kind of stumped and would like some advice. Here are some pictures of what I got going on. I'll be building another crossmember behind the case but will not provide and drivetrain support just as a place to mount a belly pan/mini boat side down the road. Thanks in advance. 20220816_113704.jpg20220816_113724.jpg20220816_113732.jpg

Yes run both your adapter foot mount and the magnum mount donuts on that same crossmember.

This is what I came up with. I used a washer underneath. I think that’s what you are asking?

Definitely what I'm doing I'm just curious if I need to run all 4 donuts and sandwich them or if I can run just 2. I can make large washers but not sure this gains anything but maybe a tad more forgiveness. 20220816_115606.jpg20220816_113704.jpg

I posted another pic and yea I ran both donuts. I figured the trans mount can squish up and down, so should the rear mount

I spent 4 hours this morning trying to search and nothing answered my question that I was able to find. Thank you tho.

Not sure if it'll be a direct answer for you but I'm pretty sure mounting has also been addressed in ORD's sub forum here.

How high is yours clocked? My magnum shifter is flat, my front driveshaft output is 1/2" above the frame, I think I need to clock it down.
It's clocked down 16606857147092838724092850254725.jpg16606857522457383617357276942801.jpgI could clock it up but I'm trying to keep the front driveline happy as well. I originally had a atlas and NWF black box mocked up and had a flatish belly but my front driveline angle was going be horrible even with only ~4" of lift. After talking to a few guys that broke their atlas in a full size rig I just pulled it and went with this set up.

One day I'll build a HP and move everything up. Tell then I sacrifice a few inches of belly clearance and just run a belly skid. Floor mod is already pretty much done to clock everything up when the time comes. To me it looks about factory position if memory serves me right. 16606868035169055423077474590955.jpg

I think im clocked 1 position further up. My outputs are at 5 degrees. Measuring on the machine surface on the magnum box where the shift lever is it is clocked at 20 degrees.
Yeah looks like your definitely a hole or two higher. My front driveshaft hates me as it is very short.

I would think mine would be the same length as yours. Mine measures 30 inches from flange surface to mid u join at the axle. I'll be running a tom woods shaft front and rear.

I’m running a short shaft 465 trans. My front shaft is 27” , but gives me a nice 40.5” rear shaft.

Thanks for the Insight. I finished up the magnum mount side today. Need to do the adapter side next. After seeing yours I can definitely tell you are clocked down more as I had to chop my magnum box mount to have it flat. Don't judge my welds to hard I'm a rookie with a shake. 20220816_102803.jpg20220816_103315.jpg:D
