Took the K5 out for the first time this weekend. Didn't do anything too exciting but still felt good to finally get out after working on it all summer and fall.

Found out that I need to get my exhaust fixed. Tore off one low hanging tail pipe. The high gears in the 12 bolt and 44 have to go. After driving a truck for so long forgot how much fun /forums/images/graemlins/doah.gif driving a short wheel base on icy roads can be! Throw in some 33x12.5 mud tires and it just gets to be plain exciting!

Also got my new tires. Glad these were not on yesterday!

Starting to get the parts all put together for next spring's assembly period. /forums/images/graemlins/woot.gif

No, it is actually sand and mud. We had some rain over the snow and then the temps dropped again. The ice/snow is about two inches to six inches thick.

Looks cool man, I lived in Anchorage for 4 yrs with the Air Force 98-02'. I kind of miss it. Now I just fry here in the desert instead of freezing my nuts off in AK /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Stallion, you will appreciate this then. We have like an inch of snow on the ground right now, and the roads have been wet for a week. This place is turning into Cabo! /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif

Yea, I remember my last winter their was reallly mild. It's funny how when break up comes everyone is in t shirts when it's like 35 degrees outside /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif
