I got the truck on the road the day before this "Play Day Event" at a local 4X4 club and decided, what the heck - might as well give it a whirl. I haven't posted my build saga... but it took me a little over a year and three trucks to get to this point (most of the specs are in my signature). Enough with the verbage, I am like the rest of you and love pictures so here goes!

Here's the truck (wife was taking pics... she insisted I was in the pic :doah:)

I spent a good portion of my run time helping guys out... the place was crazy sloppy! This poor kid (16 yrs. old) had a K5 that couldn't get out of its own way with some bald 33's.

Here's my favorite pull! ... being that it was a V10 and all :haha: (Actually he was pretty humble when he asked me to yank him) It was pretty funny that he was stuck in the parking lot :haha:

Don't worry, I am human and found some errors with this "maiden voyage". A quick run down of issues include: 1) timing out of wack (pinging on highway, took 3 adjustments on the side of the highway to get right :doah:) 2) My #8 exhaust valve continued to loosen... ran out of poly locks during build - had to adjust after every pull 3) radiator hose had one of those annoying pin hole leaks in it spraying everything!

All and all I faired pretty well! :waytogo:

Also gave me time to enjoy a beverage with my lovely wife!

Oh yeah, one more pic... I've gotta give props when props are deserved! Can anyone tell me who the driver of the radio station truck is? Big hint: he's helped me with a lot of my technical issues as I'm sure he's helped many on here as well!

this guy is full of crap.

he didnt build all of it . . . .

his wife didnt take all the pics . . . him and her in 1 together how she take it :dunno:

ya he has a good truck on his hands. just needs a 1 color paint job like he wants.

Holy crap Brett, you work for the radio station now?

Cool pics, really like the tow plate at the rear with the pintle and tow hooks.

nope prob could do radio tho.

just good friends with the dj people. and he was thankfull of the help luke and i gave him from recovery duty. he was high and dry at 9am when he got there . but it was so wet and muddy he couldnt get that thing out.

even trucks with lockers front and rear were havin trouble. that pic of lukes truck on the white blazer took 2-3 min to pull less than 1 foot ball field length .

lukes frame use to be a dump truck. so thats why end plate and pintle hook setup. we left it cause its beefy :woot:
