Main Engine Harness Cross-over

Hey Guys,
I'm going in the morning to try & snag a main engine harness (starter, alternator, etc.) for my '82 K-10.

What years will cross as donors? I have full guages (no tach yet) & will try to find a truck similarly equipped....I've remove the ESC harness & box already, going straight HEI, etc.

I just installed a harnass from a 82 K20 to a 84 K20. I would have to say that 81 thru at least 85 will work.

I'm pretty sure that the gauges-vs.-idiot-light concern isn't an issue. The harness should be the same for both. The only difference is what is attached at either end of those wires. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif Guages/sending units vs. lights/switches.
