I personally like the Clevite 77 for engine bearings...they have a good selection of bearings for different applications such as daily driver to Top Fuel...

I have used both with no problems in the past. The Clevite77 seem to sell good and I never heard anything bad about them.

Clevite is my personal choice.... never had any problems or heard of anything with the Federal though... so choice is yours I'd say.

I was planning on using Clevite, But I had never heard if anyone had any problems out of them. I just wish I did not even have to do it at all

what ever you decide make sure you plastigauge them. When Mudnutt and I put his together we had a set of mains that were mismarked. The were supposed to be .010 but were standard. They were Federal-Mogul. That is probably a one in a billion thing to have happen, but it did and it sucked.
