Make my radio install easier.

So bought a radio got the metra install kit me thinks?

This little plug looks like it goes somewhere specific.



It's 12v constant on the yellow wire. The orange wire says illumination dash light but I don't think that hooks to anything as there is a brown wire.

Yes I know I know easy to just tapin somewhere. But my head is not really letting me get on the floor and look up

whats on the other end of the pigtail? I assume that plugs into a factory harness and then into the stereo?

Yah the other end is just wires. So looking for the factory plug the harness pictured above plugs into

This is what I used and it only took about 10 minutes. The only problem I have still to fix is a constant "hot" to the stereo.

Has the OE stereo been removed? If that's the dimmer wire then it should have been plugged into the OE stereo/harness.

Pretty sure they just need ya to run to the hot. I am not finding any factory harness connection even close.

Well now my daughter is home time for her to stick her head under the dash. She fits better than me anyway
