making glass top seals seal better, tips ?

got a problem with a glass top having high pitch wind noise at front center of the glass when are traveling higher than about 35 or 40mph speeds, the seal that the glass lays on doesnt press against underside of the glass hard enough to prevent wind noise,

what to use when softening and/or swelling the rubber glass weatherstripping like this is needed to be done in order to prevent air leaks ?
