We have been at it for a month now -Its starting to look like my old 1964 I did way back when , We used a 1988 burb frame and running gear

those trucks are my favorite...the short bed stepside are the best looking trucks Chevy ever made, IMO

We were going to use the 88 motor but it had a knock , We ended up with the 1980's vet motor for now .
 
Good to see you back here Jesse. What happened to your old pick-up? The 60-66 stuff is by far my favorite era of GM trucks. I really need to get me one...

Well my son is driving his tonight , could not wait I guess for the morning. So far so good .
 
Got the bug to get mine going again - The first trans was nearly a junk pile - planets were tore up , tearing another donor down for parts , then its on to the t-case , I have to boar the input out for the 32 spline ( using a 205) and the rear axle needs on of out heat treated flanges also ( just got one extra for me done) , I hope to have the nwf 34 spline output in time for the snow also
