Manifolds,headers, flowmaster or straight pipe???????

Ok ... I was thinking about running headers with some flowmasters.. But my budget isnt agreeing with me just yet... I have a leak in my exaust so i have to figure something out b4 the rain & i have to put the top back on...( exaust leak) neibor Said I should just run some straight pipe off my stock manifold??? What's the pros & cons ? Gas milage / performance wise.. I know their will be a sound difference between the two but what else??

good shorty headers and custom 2.5" y pipe with http://www.summitracing.com/search/...r-Scavenger-Series-Y-Collectors/?autoview=SKU this to make the y and 3" out and a single flowmaster or magna flow or what even you want.

this seems to be the best thing these days for our setups.
