Hey Manni you should go to Michigan rednecks.com And see how they biuld there mud trucks. they have alot of sweet rides on there. But what you have going sounds sweet.

it sounds good. bet it sounds awesome under load. is the idle set that high or are you holding it at around a grand? you got one hell of a deal. $5000 for those numbers and installed. damn texans.:D

if it idles lower does the lope of the cam shake the truck? thats one of the things that I love about mine.

turn the idle down and watch the truck walk sideways. mine is set at about 500 rpm. the truck rocks from side to side since the leafsprings are soft. it's a pain to start when it's cold but it sound so cool at idle.

Daaamn...I think I said it ealier in this post somewhere, but that is one godamn beautiful truck Manny. Form and function all in one package. Very very very nice Manny. If you ever make it out to northern California, I've got a 6er of whatever beer you like waiting for you.

Bravo man.

Oh yeah, forgot to ask in the last post. You're in the Army right? What MOS? I was in for 4 years active duty as a 19K. M1A1 Abrams. I know Ft. Hood is an Armor base...Do you ride the tanks too? :D

Manny,

Looks awesome. One teeny little suggestion. Do something about that fuel line! Routing it right over the alternator is not good, even more so if it's just the rubber hose. One leak and you got all the spark you need in the alternator. I'd hate to see all your hard work go up in smoke.

Ideally, I'd bend up a metal fuel line, but if you can't do that at least re-route the hose behind/under the alternator.

Good luck on the scan, hope all goes well!

I lost a truck this way already, put a hardline there, I think lmc even sells it or summit maybe im sure

The dead zone

I think this is the longest this thread has lain dormant since it started....:wink1: Need.....more....vids.....

Just kidding, that truck and engine both look killer.

There is also a site called putfile.com where you can host vids. 100MB for .wmv and 25MB for the other formats. They don't have an embedded player like photobucket though.

i was application specific

Looks like we have a mud expert in our midst. A long-winded one. :wink1:

What if I had a light weight J**P with a 50/50 weight distribution? Do you think Interco would let me run Boggers front and rear then?

I'm pretty sure Manny wasn't trying to say that he'd NEVER get stuck in any hole ever again. He's not a half-wit.

man i just noticed this!i was application specific when i was exchanging business(emails and such, i just contact them now when i want to place an order, never thought about using their tech guys more...hmmmm, need to ask about some sponsorship) with them and asked the tech boys what they would run on a full size chevy swb or k5 to b exact. i can't help i can type 90 words a min and i write full page questions and take my time and explain all the details or meander on something other than what i originally started out asking about, its not my fault i have social skills, or lackof i mean.see just a little rant and its 7 pages long already ...my keyboard is possessed...i'll try and :ignore: and just blurt out questions and be short and sweet but they don't seem to get alot of answers if any. you have to kinda type:confused: see i don't know why i can't stop. blurt questions from now on ok but i need some answers and i won't give you an eyeball work out:D

manny its a little late probally, but when i'm installing u-joints and i reach the last of the c-clamp, i just run it back out an inch or so and put a socket between the cap and the c-clamp and squeze it together the rest of the way, never use a hammer.
