sorry, I had to rib ya a little. keep up the good work. there needs to be more guys that are as detail oriented like you. There wouldn't be a stigma that lifted trucks are dangerous if everyone was as thorough. Good job.

Call me crazy but arn't those grade 5 bolts between the frame and bumper bracket? Shouldn't we be using grade 8 Manny boy...? 16,500lbs of pull when that thing is burried to the doors in good ol' texas slop is some serious stress.

the bumper looks great. I must point out that you got very lucky with the install. You should have waited till the entire assembly was on the truck before you did your final tighten on the mounting bracket bolts. I never have stuff line up that well.
Please don't ruin that truck with a snorkel. if you need one for the truck then you will need one for yourself. you need to drive into water that comes in the cab and up to your waist before a snorkel is necessary. And by then your distributor is going under also.
