hey, what do you do in the army? im a steel worker in the navy. seabee. if you know what that means. i hope you dont have a grudge against us. lol

:doah: I found them on Ebay. I'm dumb cause I am on there as much as I am on here. You aren't going to convert the brakes to run 15's are you? Your sig says you have 17" wheels.

looks good man keep the parts coming! put the damn thing together already! i wana see what it can do

i was there from june 05 to end of august 05. about 2 weeks after the hurricane. i like your truck too, by the way. i just dont have enough time and a place thats convienient to work on it. at least till i get married and have my own apartment. im stationed in port hueneme, ca. if youve been here you know what i mean. i hate the city life. city boys are stupid!

Manny, i noticed what looked to be really long studs in the pass side arm, your not going to use a block to move the arm up, are you?

why are you using such short brake hoses? why not get some 12" lift superlift stainless steel braided hoses or something along those lines?
i dont expect to see your truck flexing out or anything but if you ever unload the front suspension you might start to stretch those out

Yes, I am. Actually, according to ORD, I have to due to the fact that I'm using a 10" suspension lift.

Okay, I'll ask...why?

Manny
I can understand why you would use one... I wouldnt. Not a chance. I have seen 3 come loose, 1 come loose and break studs. Thats in a factory style steering setup with the crossover the forces on the arm are even greater. These were at slow speeds though, now think of yourself doing 60 and that happening:eek1:

These occurances were not due to lack of maintance/ inproper setup, rather due to poor design and a piece being used that is rather unsafe.
