Keep your head up, I was told I wouldn't be in the Army another 6-8 months and would not recover from my surgeries. That was 4 years ago and I am getting better and stronger every day. It doesn't work out that way for all, and it took a lot of motivation of my part but I made it. Either way everything that happens, happens for a reason. We may not know the reason now, the man that counts does. Hope you heal fast brother.

Manny, I don't know if you realize this, but if you scroll to the bottom of your thread, you can see who is viewing it while you are. I don't think I've ever been on your thread by myself. There's always guys in here. You have more friends than you know here. Some of them speak up, and some are spectators, but they are all on here 'cause they enjoy reading about you and your rig. I know I'm always excited when I get an email that someone posted here, especially if it's you. I know your going to have either some good insight on life, or great technical stuff about your build up. Thanks for sharing your experiences with all of us.

Hey Manny,

Hope you feel better soon.....I'm sure a lot of the sleeplessness and maybe even part of the depressed feelings are just a result of some swelling in your brain due to the surgery.

Having any kind of injury always reminds you how complex the human body is and how much you rely on every part of it......but equally amazing is how resilient we all are, and how quickly we can heal and adapt ourselves.

Hang tough brother....I know this is a frustrating and scary time. But, you've got about 35,000 people here all pulling for you!

Manny, the way you're feeling can also be in part due to the after effects of anesthesia. Give yourself some time to heal, physically and mentally. Don't expect to be all better all at once. Time heals.
