Unlike the norm, I am actually going to swap from manual to power.

How much of a pain is it going to be to do this? I imagine its going to be pretty straight foward. Are all the mounting holes already there for everything? Are there already holes in the door and cab for me to route the wiring harness through? Any tips/tricks would be greatly appreciated.

I swaped some doors from a 86' to my 75' K-5. Now I be switching them back to manual. Bad idea for me, can't keep them working[tracks, toggles, motors]:(

u have to drill holes( at least on my 74 i did) and two out of four mounting holes will be there atleast

The wiring is usually easy , it all plugs into the fusebox and ground location on top of e-brake bracket from drivers side , then the passenger side harness runs over and piggybacks onto that one .

Looked cake when I started stripping the wiring for my truggy from my 83 ( 83 will get new harness in 2yrs ) .

Getting ready to undertake this, swapping to power locks and windows from manual. Any tips?

Doesnt look like a lot of the mounting holes are there or anything, luckly I have several vehicles to use as a reference.

Nah Jay I have all the stuff to convert over I think, but if not, I may have to hit you up for some small parts/pieces...

Look for the post about using relays to power the windows... it will make them run faster than stock at least. I posted a wiring diagram in there to help out as well.
