alright ive got the interior all torn out (again) to throw in my pedals and whatnot for my sm465 swap.

the measurement i need is where to drill/cut the hole for the rod that goes through the floor. im not sure about the correct term, but i think you know what i mean.

i know about how low it needs to be...but how about how far from the gas pedal(while floored)?

thanks!

WHen I converted my old 76 Blazer to manual the floor already had a factory divet where the rod went through, all I did was cut it out.

My 1973 actually had the hole...but if you tell me what you want me to measure from, I can...

i would realy appreciate a measurement.

this is a 79...i found a divet, but i drilled through and ended up behind the inner fender. that didn't seem right to me. unless im just supposed to enlarge that and trim back the inner fender as well.

Hey cous-cous... feel free to stop by and check out my truck anytime.

ya soon enough i might be able to drive the darn thing over there. maybe. ill think about it. lol

here's some measurements of mine. it's easy... the holes don't need to be anywhere as big as these tho. tranny's right smack in the center. i found that my original t-case hole was fine w/ my 208, it's a bit close on the driver's side tho. click on the pics for a larger view.

oops! wrong topic. sorry. my shift pedal rod holes are horrible, it took me 3 trys to get it right and i've got a micky mouse hole in my floor! :(
