Well, since there always has to be one naysayer in the bunch, I don't like the Warn premium - I far prefer the standard Warns. The premiums are nicely built and work well, but I hate the dial - the grooves are too shallow for my tastes, and harder to get a grip on.
Quality of materials. I have the Superwinch and they have some plastic in them. Isn't the Warns all metal?

gotta stick with the crowd on this one warn all the way, never broke one tried a few others not the same quality, can't speek for the new'er pro comp's though. They do seem to have the same features but haven't heard anything about them
isnt it just the Warn Premiums that are all metal. I just changed out my autos for the standard Warns last weekend and I'm pretty sure the dial is plastic ... its a cake job .. nothing to it ... prolly the best $50 i've spent on the jimmy yet. Anyway, the choices I had were between Warn and Mile Marker ... I chose Warn cause I am more familiar with the name and I have heard mixed reviews about the MM hubs ...

I did break one and went to 4WP performance and they guy said "life time warrenty" go get a new set of the shelf. Out the door I go with new hubs no questions asked. Do the other companies do this?
