Manual rear window crank ?

My handle to roll the window down and up works fine but I need to know if when you close the handle if it's supposed to line up flush against the holder? The knob you grab to roll the window up and goes back into the holster But sticks out on the other side a lttle bit. Is this correct? Thanks

It's probably working the way it's supposed to. I don't remember if it sticks out a little or not. All of my manual crank handles are broken off. Crappy hinges.

It sticks out a little, beleive a 1/4 inch or so not much.
