465's are great tranny's, but they're also well known for having one of the sloppiest shift patterns ever.

I had my top cover rebuilt in my yellow truck its tight ......well as tight as these things get very little slop i'd say its comparable to a NV4500 slop wise the trhows are much longer of course. I think the best part of having a bench seat SM465 trucks is when you have a hot girl riding bitch and your hand "slips" while putting the trans in reverese.......or as I like to call it
